Toronto Technology Business Network
http://www.TechBizToronto.com/

We support the launch of new projects and the pursuit of ambitious personal goals through a network of like-minded people and a directory of useful resources. We present a forum to gather interest and support for a new project, be it a business venture or a non-profit social enterprise.

Directory. Toronto's major events and organizations are compiled links and resources for those of us contemplating, starting up, or running a project in technology or new media. If you know of an online library, event series, resource or anything else which would be of use to other entrepreneurs and professionals, please send it in.

Events in Toronto. While we link to lectures and events with a downtown focus, the Toronto Technology Business Network holds its own occasional events, often to support its members' projects and interests. Movers and shakers can meet each other, help others solve strategic problems, and bounce ideas around in a casual atmosphere. We hope to make connections which create discussions that are both interesting and inspiring.

Announcement List. We operate an events and announcements list for members, interesting thoughts and ideas, and occasionally send out an itinerary of the most intruiging upcoming events in the city.

Technology Business Brainstorming Session

Held on Saturday, December 15th
Atlas is a complete handheld solution for consumers to communicate, manage media files and ideas. Do you have ideas for portable computing applications, a new operating system, or hardware design? This company and its markets were discussed on Bay Street in the boardroom at Avema Corporation, generously provided by Toronto Technology Business Network member and entrepreneur Roger Yang.

Held on Tuesday, October 23rd
We met with high-tech thinkers, strategists, and entrepreneurs to flesh out a roadmap of opportunities in the emerging Voice-Over-IP industry. What are the possibilities? Where are the most natural market opportunities, and how will people use the technology? An intimate discussion took place with some very smart movers and shakers.
